Northern Odyssey 2024

In September 2024 we were delighted to bring together twelve beneficiaries for our Northern Odyssey in Northumberland.

The aim of the trip was to support the rehabilitation of wounded, injured or sick service personnel and veterans by creating opportunities to participate in challenging activities.

They travelled from all across the country to the beautiful Northumberland coast to participate in a multi activity event which included coasteering, rock climbing, archery, bushcraft and a two day canoe expedition with wild camp.

The age span of the beneficiaries ranged over 40 years, included both serving and veteran service personnel, and were from across all the Armed Forces. Therefore, they have all had very different experiences but from Day One they gelled together, and enthusiastically took part in the activities.
